Flinks’ mission is to put consumers at the center of finance. This is not just some marketing pitch; this vision is formally enshrined in internal company documents of the utmost importance, like our Constitution .
We pursue our mission of putting consumers at the center of finance by allowing you (the “End User”) to easily connect your bank accounts to software applications (the “Applications”) that can help you do everything with your money: leverage artificial intelligence for investing, save money, transfer funds in other currencies, streamline credit applications, and much more. These Applications are not developed or owned by Flinks; they are our clients, and you are their client.
By facilitating the connection between End Users and Applications, Flinks does more than just enabling you to use their specific service: we are unlocking the next generation of financial services by opening up this sector to competition and innovation.
This is what drives us every day.
The aim of this Policy is to provide a clear, yet concise explanation of what information we collect about End Users, how we use it, and how we share it. One important thing we want you to keep in mind is that this Policy covers only the information that Flinks handles, thus it does not explain what the Applications do with your information. We do encourage you to review their privacy policies to know about their practices. As in everything we do, we tried to make this Policy seamless and user-friendly; however, should you have any questions about it, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We use information differently depending on what type of End User you are. We divide End Users in two categories:
This Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information from both types of End Users.
This part explains how we collect, use, and share information from Website Users in order to operate, improve and develop our website.

We use the information we collect from Website Users to operate and improve our website. More specifically, we use your information:
We share Website Users’ information with marketing and analytics third parties. More specifically, we share your information:
This part explains how we collect, use, and share information from Application Users in order to operate, improve, develop, and protect our services.
Information you provide. When you connect your financial accounts with an Application, you may provide, through our integrated services, the login information required by your financial institution to access your account. Typically, this consists of a username and password, but it could also include answers to challenge questions or a security token.
Information from your financial institution. When we connect your financial account with an Application, we retrieve information from the financial institution that maintains the account. The information we retrieve may vary depending on:
The types of information we collect from your financial institutions may include, but are not limited to:
The data may include information from all your sub-accounts (e.g., checking, savings, and credit card) accessible through a single set of account credentials, even if only a single sub-account is designated by you to the Application.
We use the information we collect from Application Users to operate, improve, and protect the services we provide to Applications, and to develop new services. The services we provide are described in the Products section of this website. More specifically, we use your information:
We might also use your information in an aggregated or de-identified manner for any purpose permitted under applicable law, including improvement of our services.
We share your identifiable information with the Applications you use. We may also share your information:
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information with other third parties. For example, we may share with a store demographics about their customers; however, we will never reveal to them someone’s specific identity or contact information.
End Users have the right to access their personal information in our possession. Just let us know at email@example.com and we’ll send it to you. If you find errors, you have the right to request us to correct them; we will do so with pleasure.
Even if the Applications we power are generally awesome, there might come a day when you don’t want to use their services anymore. Should it be the case, you might also want the information you’ve provided to be deleted (this is what we call “withdrawing your consent”).
If you want us to delete your personal information, just let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
However, we need to emphasize that Flinks has no control over the Applications. For this reason, you will need to contact them directly if you want them to delete your personal information.
If you request us to delete your information, we will nonetheless preserve:
We may make changes to this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
